Nothing on this site is a quote. The signed scope is.

These are the terms for using garoofingandrepair.co, the site of an Atlanta roofing company doing roof repair and roof replacement on houses and commercial buildings. Read the estimate and warranty sections before you sign anything with anyone.

01

When these terms start

These terms took effect on October 2, 2026 and apply every time you use the site after that.

Effective date: October 2, 2026. Last updated: October 2, 2026. If you used the site before that date, the version in force at the time applied to that visit. Anything you send us from today is read against this version.

These terms cover the website. They do not replace the written contract you sign for a job on your roof. Where the two disagree about a job, the signed contract wins.

02

Who you are dealing with

The site is run by Garoofingandrepair, trading as GA Roofing & Repair at garoofingandrepair.co.

The operator is Garoofingandrepair, trading at garoofingandrepair.co under the name GA Roofing & Repair. Our postal address is 1201 W Peachtree St NW, Atlanta, Georgia 30309, United States. Phone 770-639-7663. Email [email protected].

We are a residential roofing contractor in Atlanta and we also work on low-slope commercial roofs. "We", "us" and "our" in these terms mean that business. "You" means anyone reading the site or sending us an inquiry, whether you own the building or manage it for someone else.

03

What this site is for

The site tells you what we do and lets you ask us to look at a roof. That is all it does.

You can read about our four jobs on the services page: roof leak repair, storm and wind damage repair, residential roof replacement and commercial flat roofing. You can read how we diagnose on the about page. You can send an inquiry from the contact page or the short form on the home page, and you can use the support chat.

The site does not diagnose your roof. A photograph you upload or a description you type is a starting point. We do not quote a replacement from a drone image or a phone picture, and nothing written here is advice about your specific building. The only way we tell you what is wrong is by going up the ladder and into the attic.

There are no accounts and no stored payment details. Nothing to sign up for.

04

Inquiry only. Estimates are not binding.

Nothing is sold or paid for on this site, and no figure you see or hear before an inspection is a quote.

Sending a form or a chat message is a request for us to contact you. It is not an order, and it does not commit you or us to anything. There is no cart on garoofingandrepair.co, and no payment is taken here.

If we mention a number before we have walked the roof, on the phone, in chat or in an email, treat it as a ballpark. It is not binding on either side. Roofs hide things. Soft decking under a sound-looking field of shingles, a chimney with no counter flashing at all, two old layers where you expected one, a rafter split by an old limb strike. Any of those changes the job.

An inquiry becomes work in four steps:

  1. You send an inquiry or call 770-639-7663.
  2. We inspect the roof and the attic and photograph what we find.
  3. We send a written scope and price, saying what the price covers: tear-off depth, decking basis, underlayment, flashing, ventilation, haul-away.
  4. You sign it. Only the signed written scope is a contract, and only for the work it lists.

Emergency tarping in a storm is agreed by phone or on site before we put the tarp on, and is still confirmed in writing afterwards.

05

How a roofing price is built

Every price is in US dollars, set on a stated basis, and changes only for reasons written into the scope.

All prices are in USD. The basis depends on the job:

Price basis by job
JobBasis
Roof leak repairPer repair, written price after on-roof and attic inspection
Storm & wind damageEmergency tarp per visit; repair per written scope after inspection
Residential roof replacementPer square (100 sq ft) plus decking replaced per sheet, counted on the invoice
Commercial flat roofingPer square, scope set after a core cut shows what is under the membrane

What moves a price after signing: decking found rotten once the old roof is off, which is billed per sheet at the rate stated in your scope; extra layers found under the top one; hidden damage to fascia or rafters; and changes you ask for, such as a different shingle line. We stop and show you before any of that is done. Photographs come with it.

We do not add charges that are not in the scope, and we do not bill for decking we did not replace. The count is on your invoice.

06

Workmanship warranty

We stand behind how we installed it. The term and the exact cover are written on your signed contract, not on this page.

There are two separate things people call a roof warranty, and mixing them up causes most of the arguments we hear about.

Workmanship

This is ours. It covers the way we put the roof on: nailing pattern, flashing laps, valley construction, ridge and vent installation, seam welds on TPO. If water comes in because of how we installed something, we come back and fix it at no charge. The length of that cover is stated on the contract for your job, because a single pipe-boot replacement and a full tear-off are not the same piece of work and do not carry the same term.

Materials

This belongs to the manufacturer. Shingles, underlayment and membranes we install, from makers such as GAF, Owens Corning, CertainTeed, Carlisle and Firestone, come with that manufacturer's own product warranty. We register it where the manufacturer requires and hand you the paperwork. We are not the party who honours it, and we make no promise beyond what the manufacturer writes.

What voids or sits outside the workmanship cover

  • Damage from storms, falling limbs, hail or wind beyond the shingle's rated speed. That is a new storm claim, not a defect.
  • Work by someone else on the roof after us: satellite dishes bolted through the field, solar racking, a handyman's caulk.
  • Areas you asked us to leave alone, such as an old skylight you chose to keep.
  • Clogged gutters and pine straw piled in valleys, which back water up under any roof.
  • Unpaid balances. Cover starts when the job is paid for.

To make a claim, call 770-639-7663 or email [email protected] with the address and, if you can, a photo of the stain or drip. We inspect first. If it is ours, we fix it. If it is not, we show you the photographs and tell you why.

07

What you may not do here

Use the forms and chat to talk to us about a roof, and not for anything else.

  • No false names, phone numbers or addresses, and no inquiries in someone else's name without their say-so.
  • No spam, sales pitches or bulk messages through the forms or chat.
  • No automated scraping, load testing or attempts to get at parts of the server that are not linked from the site.
  • No uploading or pasting malware, or content that is unlawful, threatening or abusive toward our staff.
  • No copying our pages to pass yourself off as us or as another roofing company.

The forms carry spam traps. Messages caught by them are discarded without a reply.

08

Who owns the words and pictures

The text, photographs, logo and design of this site belong to Garoofingandrepair or are used with permission.

The GA Roofing & Repair name, the wordmark and the symbol are ours. So is the written copy, the layout and the photographs of our work. You may link to any page and print a page for your own records. You may not reuse our photographs on another contractor's site, in a competing ad, or on a review platform as if they showed someone else's job.

Manufacturer names such as GAF, Owens Corning, CertainTeed, Carlisle and Firestone belong to their owners. We name them because we install their materials. That is not a claim of partnership or certification.

Photographs we take of your roof during an inspection are given to you to keep and use, including for an insurance claim.

09

What the site does not promise

The site is provided as it is. The general roofing information on it is not a promise about your roof.

We write the pages carefully and correct mistakes when we find them. We do not warrant that every page is complete, current or free of errors, or that the site will be up every minute of every day. Statements such as "most Atlanta leaks start at a pipe boot, a valley or a chimney" are what we see on the job, not a diagnosis of your house.

Nothing here is insurance advice. We will document storm damage with dated photographs for you to give your insurer. Whether the insurer pays is their decision, and we do not tell you otherwise.

Links to other sites, such as a map service for directions, are there for convenience. We do not control those sites.

10

Limit of liability

For use of the website itself, our liability is limited as far as Georgia law allows. Work on your roof is governed by your contract.

The website is free to use. To the extent the law permits, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from reading it, relying on general information in it, or being unable to reach it. That includes decisions you make about a roof without having us or anyone else inspect it.

Liability for roofing work we carry out is set by the signed contract for that job and by the law that applies to it. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

11

When access can be withdrawn

We can block or stop answering anyone who misuses the forms, the chat or the site.

If you break the acceptable-use rules above, we may block your IP address, close a chat thread, stop replying to your inquiries or take any page offline, without notice. We may also change or retire the site, a form or the chat at any time.

Ending access to the website does not cancel a signed contract for work. That is ended only as the contract itself says.

12

Governing law

Georgia law applies, and disputes are heard in the courts of Atlanta.

These terms and any dispute about the site are governed by the law of Georgia, United States. Any claim is heard in the courts of Atlanta, Georgia. If you are a consumer, this does not take away any protection the law of your home state gives you and that cannot be waived by agreement.

Before anyone files anything, call us. Most disputes about a roof are settled faster on the roof with a ladder and a camera than in an office.

13

Changes to these terms

When we change these terms, the new date goes at the top of this page and the change applies from that date.

We update the "last updated" date in the page header whenever we change a clause. A change that affects how we handle inquiries already sent, or the warranty section, is also noted in a line at the top of the relevant section for at least 30 days. Changes never alter a contract you have already signed. That stays on the terms you signed.

The privacy side of the site is covered separately in the privacy policy and the cookie policy, which carry their own dates.
